Why IGBO PAGE Exists
IGBO PAGE’s mission is to share and grow the world’s knowledge of the Igbo culture and people. In 2006 the United Nations (UNESCO) predicted that the Igbo Language is among the languages that will go extinct in 50 years. We want to connect the people who have the knowledge of the Igbo language and culture to the people who do not. Through this, we hope to bring together people from different perspectives and Igbo dialects so they can share the Igbo language and culture with each other better, and to empower everyone to learn and share Igbo with the world.
